Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and processed when you install or use our Application in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

1. Our Core Architecture & Zero Data Storage Policy

We prioritize the absolute security and privacy of your data. We do not store any customer, user, or merchant personal information in our own local databases or servers.

Our application strictly functions as a real-time processing bridge. It utilizes Shopify's official APIs to read and write data directly to and from your secure Shopify database. Because we act solely as a conduit, your business-critical data remains securely within Shopify's ecosystem at all times.

2. Information We Process

To perform its functions, our App requires access to specific information via Shopify API scopes. We strictly request the minimum permissions necessary to operate:

  • Store Information: Basic store details to verify active subscriptions and connect securely to your shop domain.
  • Customer Data (Processed, Not Stored): If our app handles customer-facing features, it may temporarily process customer details (e.g., names, email addresses, order history) in memory to execute the requested actions directly on Shopify.
  • Order & Product Data (Processed, Not Stored): Our application reads this data in real-time to provide the intended functionality, immediately discarding the data from our volatile memory once the process is complete.

3. Data Storage & Hosting

Our zero-local-storage architecture guarantees that no persistent records of your shop's private data exist on our infrastructure. Any data fetched from your Shopify store is held temporarily in RAM solely for the duration of the specific computational request and is permanently destroyed the moment the process finishes.

Our web servers and computational infrastructure are hosted using industry-standard secure cloud providers, protected by enterprise-grade firewalls and end-to-end TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Because we do not store your information locally, there is no residual data left on our servers when you uninstall the app.

If you initiate a data deletion request (such as a Shopify GDPR webhook request to delete customer data or shop data), we acknowledge the request according to Shopify's requirements. However, since we do not host or store any of this data locally, there are no local databases for us to scrub. Your data is entirely managed and governed by your Shopify store's retention policies.

5. Merchant and Customer Rights

If you are a European resident, or reside in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (such as the GDPR or CCPA), you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted.

Because our application acts as a data processor bridging directly to Shopify, you can exercise these rights directly through your Shopify Admin dashboard. If you or your customers submit a formal data request via Shopify, we will facilitate and confirm the process, though the actual data modification or deletion will occur within Shopify's secure databases.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes through the application or via email.
